Volleyball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Victory Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 4th.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10, 25-9.

Cornerstone Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Chloe Clanton, who had ten kills and eight aces. Those eight aces set a new season-high mark for Clanton. Nayeli Heslop was another key player, getting ten aces.

Victory Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Victory Christian Academy will welcome Victory Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, they will challenge Sheets Memorial Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th.
