Football Game Recap: St. Vincent vs. St. Pius X

If St. Vincent were riding high off their 49-12 takedown of Crystal City last Friday, that ride came to an abrupt end. St. Vincent didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 27-32 to St. Pius X on Friday. If St. Vincent were hoping to take revenge for the 25-61 loss against St. Pius X the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.

The defeat dropped St. Vincent's record to 3-5. The win bumped St. Pius X's record up to 6-1.

St. Vincent will be playing at home against Grandview at at 7:30 PM next week. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest. As for St. Pius X, they will face off against Crystal City. Crystal City are limping into the matchup on a eight-game losing streak.
