If Elmira was riding high  fresh off their  17-2 takedown of Waverly on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Express fell  6-1 to the Pittsford Panthers on Saturday. The Express' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Elmira got a good showing from  Marley Devlin, who   tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Devlin has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Elmira saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Addison Taft, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
Elmira now  has a losing record of 4-5. As for Pittsford, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record  this season.
 Elmira will be playing in front of their home fans against Varsity Opponent  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Pittsford, they will head out to  take on Honeoye Falls-Lima  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
