Soccer Recap: McDowell Comes Up Short

McDowell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the T.C. Roberson Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 7-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

McDowell's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for T.C. Roberson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-1-2 record this season.

McDowell will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Asheville at 5:30 p.m. on March 31st. As for T.C. Roberson, they will take on North Buncombe at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. T.C. Roberson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
