Soccer Recap: Principia Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bayless on Friday, Principia came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the De Smet Jesuit Spartans on Saturday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Principia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 124th, while De Smet Jesuit are ranked 34th).

Principia now has a losing record of 3-4. As for De Smet Jesuit, their win bumped their record up to 6-3-2.

Looking ahead, Principia will host Westminster Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for De Smet Jesuit, they will head out on the road to square off against St. Dominic at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
