California Lutheran hasn't had much luck against United Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The C-Hawks will challenge the Eagles at 2:45 p.m. California Lutheran is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, California Lutheran beat Calvin Christian 6-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the C-Hawks.

Mathias Galanos and Colton McGee were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Galanos pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, McGee pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Galanos has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. At bat, Galanos got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs, while McGee went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

In other batting news, Christian Sutton was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for United Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on Sherman Indian with a sharp 14-4 victory on Thursday.

United Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for California Lutheran, their record is now 11-5.

California Lutheran came up short against United Christian Academy when the teams last played back in April, falling 6-3. Can the C-Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
