Basketball Game Preview: St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers vs. Faith Christian Knights

St. John's Christian Academy and Faith Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The two teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

St. John's Christian Academy is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Orangeburg Prep on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. St. John's Christian Academy lost 81-59 to Orangeburg Prep. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-21.

Faith Christian's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 11-7. As for St. John's Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

St. John's Christian Academy came up short against Faith Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 56-47. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Faith Christian's Elijah Brown, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 boards.
