Volleyball Recap: Pagosa Springs Comes Up Short

Pagosa Springs lost against Glenwood Springs back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Demons.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15.

Lexi Campbell paced Pagosa Springs' offense, picking up six kills. Campbell got some help from Hayden Peterson and her 12 assists.

Pagosa Springs has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season. As for Glenwood Springs, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3.

Pagosa Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Delta on the 1st. As for Glenwood Springs, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Coal Ridge on the 1st.
