Baseball Recap: Stockbridge Comes Up Short

If Stockbridge was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Eagle's Landing last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Stockbridge came up short against the Ola Mustangs on Friday, falling 11-1. The Tigers have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Stockbridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremiah McGeachy, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. McGeachy has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Stockbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Ola, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-1.

While Stockbridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Monday.
