Bishop Alemany waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over the Marymount Sailors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-0 two weeks ago.

Sienna Valadez was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Kailani Ilagan was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Bishop Alemany hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive games.

Bishop Alemany's win bumped their record up to 14-12-2. As for Marymount, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6-1 record this season.
