Baseball Game Preview: Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs vs. Fleming Island Golden Eagles

The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs will face off against the Fleming Island Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Flagler Palm Coast easily dispatched Pine Ridge on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Bulldogs fell just short of Columbia by a score of 3-1 on Friday.

Flagler Palm Coast saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reginald Bass, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Fleming Island fell victim to Keystone Heights and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Indians. The Golden Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Flagler Palm Coast has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Fleming Island, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.
