Basketball Recap: Hibriten Panthers vs. Watauga Pioneers
Hibriten was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 84-58 to the Watauga Pioneers. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 549th, while the Pioneers are ranked 159th).

Hibriten will take on Alexander Central and their three-game winning streak at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Watauga will try to stop East Forsyth's six-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
