Volleyball Recap: Pueblo South Takes a Loss

Pueblo South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They came up short against the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-10.

Kayleena Kraemer paced Pueblo South's offense, picking up two kills. Kraemer got some help from Diana Flores and her two assists. Aiesha Meraz-Martinez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pueblo South's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Pueblo Centennial, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.

Looking ahead, Pueblo South will take on Pueblo County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pueblo Centennial, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Canon City on the 11th.
