Softball Recap: Many Falls Short of South Beauregard in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Many can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 21-12 to the South Beauregard Knights, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Many's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for South Beauregard, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-15.

Many does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Beauregard, they will face off against Pine Prairie on Saturday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
