League recap: Brotzman throws longest pass in league this season for Pius X

Nick Brotzman and Nate Stewart provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Bucktail. The connection was good for 65 yards, the longest such play in All-American this season.

Pius X led the league in scoring this week after putting up 28 points on the Bucks. Brotzman threw for 167 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Everest Williams was the best wideout in the league this week as Carson Long Military Institute fell to Milton. Williams tallied six receptions for 96 yards. Demar Watson helped Carson Long Military Institute's passing attack out by catching one ball for five yards.

Dashon Russell was the most productive running back in All-American this week. In five carries, he ran for 41 yards as the Royals fell to the Black Panthers. TJ Belle also contributed to the rushing game with 36 yards on the ground.

Pius X's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Royals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Aaron Savelli has thrown for 491 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Eric "E-Bo" Marbury has 19 catches for 269 yards. Belle leads the league in rushing with 125 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Nativity BVM takes on Columbia Montour Vo-Tech. Nativity BVM is currently in third, while the Rams are in fourth.
