North Lenoir was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against James Kenan on Tuesday. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Hawks have won seven games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Maddie Rouse made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 4.1 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, North Lenoir let Lakyn Whitley and Kailey Bridwell run wild. Whitley went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI, while Bridwell scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
