Ezekiel Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on Varsity Opponent with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.

Ezekiel Academy never let Varsity Opponent on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-22.

Presley Baker paced Ezekiel Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Baker got some help from Jillian Newell and her 15 assists. Finally, Alantis Richards kept Ezekiel Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Ezekiel Academy's victory bumped their record up to 27-6.

Ezekiel Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest on the 9th.
