Softball Recap: Gadsden County Comes Up Short

Gadsden County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 18-3 to the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Baby Rattlers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-2 back in March.

Gadsden County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Perla Morales, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Gadsden County's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for FAMU DRS, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-15.

As of now, neither Gadsden County nor the Baby Rattlers have any future games scheduled.
