Basketball Recap: Cambria Heights Academy Takes a Loss

Cambria Heights Academy lost against Kennedy back in January of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Cambria Heights Academy took a blow against Kennedy, falling 80-44. While losing is never fun, Cambria Heights Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 649th, while Kennedy is ranked 206th).

Cambria Heights Academy's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Kennedy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cambria Heights Academy will face off against Gateway to Health Sciences at 4:30 p.m. on January 16th. As for Kennedy, they will venture away from home to take on Queens School Of Inquiry at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Queens School Of Inquiry's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
