Ethan Rendon posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with two or fewer walks.

Coming up, Rendon and Paso Robles will stay at home for another game and welcome El Diamante at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Rendon's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Bearcats' four-game streak of wins at home.
