Soccer Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Buford

On Thursday, Westwood faced Buford in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Westwood Redhawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buford Yellow Jackets. The Redhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of London Hudson, who's now up to two this season.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Buford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Westwood will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against White Knoll at 7:00 p.m. As for Buford, they are taking a road trip to challenge York at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
