            Fernley is  a perfect 6-0 against Dayton since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vaqueros will square off against the Dust Devils at 7:00  p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Fernley's defense heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They took their  game  with ease, bagging  a  47-0 win over Lowry. The  matchup marked the Vaqueros' most dominant  victory of the  season.

  Keeshawn Love was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 199 yards and a pair of  TDs on only 13 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional  for a while as that marked his 17th straight game with at least 122  rushing yards dating back to last season.  Bryce Stephens was another key player, rushing for 24 yards and one  touchdown.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Dayton). They claimed a resounding  48-0 win over Sierra Lutheran. The Dust Devils pushed the score to  40-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons had  no chance of recovering from.
 Fernley's victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 7-2. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 42.0 points over those games. As for Dayton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
 Everything came up roses for Fernley against Dayton when the teams last played  back in October of 2021, as the  team secured  a  57-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vaqueros since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
