Basketball Recap: Riverview Sarasota Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Riverview Sarasota had won three straight home games dating back to last season and Taylor Davidson did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Riverview Sarasota Rams blew past the Sarasota Sailors 61-41 thanks in part to Davidson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. Davidson is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Kyrsten Montas was another key player, putting up 11 points and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2023.

Riverview Sarasota's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Sarasota, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Riverview Sarasota and IMG Academy Blue will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
