Princeton barely beat Goldsboro the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Cougars on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Princeton, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Macie Allison and Taylar Johnson scored all five of Princeton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 33 goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Princeton and bumps their season record up to 11-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two contests. As for Goldsboro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Princeton will square off against Spring Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Spring Creek's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Goldsboro, they will face off against North Johnston at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Johnston will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Goldsboro surely won't give up without a fight.
