Football Game Preview: Okanogan Bulldogs vs. Manson Trojans + Official Tickets

Okanogan is a perfect 5-0 against Manson since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Okanogan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Manson likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Okanogan took their matchup with ease, bagging a 50-6 win over Brewster. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Okanogan's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Colson Kuchenbuch, who threw for 206 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and Wesley Allen, who gained 133 total yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance also gave Allen a new career-high in rushing yards (102).

Okanogan's run defense was locked in: Brewster could only muster 1.8 yards per carry. While four picked up at least two total tackles, Allen stood above the rest. He rushed for 102 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, and also picked up 31 receiving yards. Okanogan didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.3.

Okanogan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Elijah Richards and Brayden Meyer.

Meanwhile, Manson played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Tonasket and fell 34-7. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

This is the second loss in a row for Manson and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Okanogan, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Okanogan against Manson in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-8 victory. In that game, the Bulldogs amassed a halftime lead of 41-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
