Softball Recap: Beaver Beavers vs. Minerva Lions
If Beaver was riding high off their 14-0 takedown of Wellsville last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Beaver Beavers fell just short of the Minerva Lions by a score of 5-4 on Monday.
Beaver saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ciara Call, who went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Call has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances.
