South Anchorage faced Bartlett in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wolverines' defense stepped up to hand the Golden Bears a 12-0 shutout. South Anchorage's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five matchups.

Their offense was hitting Bartlett from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Lexi Luff led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

South Anchorage pushed their record up to 11-0-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 56 goals over those six games. As for Bartlett, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13-1.
