Baseball Recap: La Plata Comes Up Short at Home Against Westran

La Plata unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Westran Hornets on Monday, falling 13-1. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Hornets since on Monday.

The win (which was Westran's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
