Softball Recap: Franklin Learning Center Bobcats vs. String Theory
Franklin Learning Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell victim to a tough 11-1 loss at the hands of String Theory. Franklin Learning Center was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as String Theory apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.
For String Theory's part, Savannah Iammuri made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Iammuri was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all two of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Ava Matteo was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Alexa Pietrafesa, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

As for String Theory, they will be playing at home against Carver High School of Engineering & Science at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
