The Heide Trask Titans will square off against the Whiteville Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Heide Trask is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.

While Heide Trask's victory against Pender wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans skirted past the Patriots 7-5. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Dava Bullard made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 6.2 innings pitched. Bullard was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Jalyn Reece-Murray was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and one RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Makayla Smith, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs.

Heide Trask kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 9-2 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Whiteville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Stallions with a sharp 16-3 victory. The Wolfpack not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 28th (when they won 16-2).

Heide Trask's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Whiteville, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.
