University is 0-10 against Palisades since April of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Wildcats will host the Dolphins at 3:00 p.m. Palisades took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on University, who comes in off a win.
University is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Fairfax 19-3 on Monday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Kayla Carpenter made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

In other batting news, University got a massive performance out of Ashley Arauz-Augustin, who went 1-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave Arauz-Augustin a new career-high. Kayla Anzora was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
University hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fairfax struck out nine times.
Palisades couldn't beat Hamilton on Thursday even though they stacked six runs on them in the fifth inning. The Dolphins came up short against the Yankees, falling 19-9. The Dolphins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rikka Richardson was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Amanda Brown, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Palisades' loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for University, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
