Manitowoc Lincoln entered their tilt with Luxemburg-Casco on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Spartans. That's more bragging rights for the Ships, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Abby Weidmayer paced Manitowoc Lincoln's offense, picking up 19 kills. Weidmayer got some help from Cora Foster and her 21 assists. Foster and Weidmayer didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Luxemburg-Casco's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylan Kaminski, who had 14 digs and four assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Danica Bartels, who had 11 digs.

Manitowoc Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Luxemburg-Casco, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-9.

Manitowoc Lincoln didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Bay Port on the 4th. As for Luxemburg-Casco, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sun Prairie West on the 4th.
