Baseball Recap: Gatlinburg-Pittman Comes Up Short

Gatlinburg-Pittman came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Alcoa Tornadoes, falling 15-5. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tornadoes this season, with their most recent loss being a 18-0 defeat back in March.

Tristan Davis was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Gatlinburg-Pittman's loss dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Alcoa, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-4.

As of now, neither Gatlinburg-Pittman nor the Tornadoes have any future games scheduled.
