Basketball Recap: Rubidoux Takes a Loss

Rubidoux was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 88-71 fall against the Ramona Rams. The Falcons were probably out for revenge after losing 81-61 to them when the teams met back in December of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ramona to victory, but perhaps none more so than Garrett Pickens, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 assists. Pickens is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Troy Terrell, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten boards.

Rubidoux's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Ramona, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-5.

Rubidoux has already played their next matchup, a 61-41 victory against La Sierra on the 21st. As for Ramona, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 73-43 win against Patriot on the 21st.
