Baseball Recap: Solon Gets the Win

Triway typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Solon proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Titans by a score of 7-3.

Solon's victory bumped their record up to 6-12-2. As for Triway, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Solon will challenge Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bees' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Comets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Triway, they will face off against Fairless at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.8 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
