It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Northeastern ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Franklin County Wildcats 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since May 18, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Blake Waters, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April of 2024. Kaleb Moore was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
