Soccer Game Preview: Joliet Central vs. Lincoln-Way East

Joliet Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Richards get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. That 15 goal margin sets a new team best for Joliet Central this season.

Meanwhile, Lincoln-Way East had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Chargers as they made off with a 5-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Lincoln-Way East, who have now won 11 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Lincoln-Way East pushed their record up to 15-3-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those seven contests. As for Joliet Central, they moved to 6-13 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
