Basketball Recap: Chester Triumphs

Chester won the last time they faced Goodrich and things went their way on Monday too. The Chester Yellowjackets never let the Goodrich Hornets onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The two-point effort marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Chester's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Goodrich, their defeat was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-20.

Chester has already played their next game (against Leggett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Goodrich will face off against Hull-Daisetta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hull-Daisetta will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Goodrich surely won't give up without a fight.
