The result was an unpleasant reminder to Southern Wake Academy of the 49-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.

Southern Wake Academy dropped their record down to 0-18 with that loss, which was their tenth straight at home. As for River Mill, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-13.
Southern Wake Academy will square off against Chatham Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Southern Wake Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last 15 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for River Mill, they and Franklin Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
