Bo Lowrance and Carter Phillips were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Lowrance pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Phillips tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. At bat, Lowrance scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Phillips scored a run while going 3-for-5.
In other batting news, Alex Drake was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of JW Whisenhunt, who went 2-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI.
Christ Church Episcopal was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Walhalla was able to grind out a solid win over Greer on Friday, taking the game 10-5. The victory continues a trend for the Razorbacks in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won three in a row.
The team relied heavily on Jackson Smith, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Nate Johnson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3.
Walhalla's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Christ Church Episcopal, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
