Catholic Central came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-44 victory over the South Christian Sailors. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cougars have posted since February 11th.

Catholic Central's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for South Christian, with the defeat, they broke their 12-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-5.

Coming up, Catholic Central will take on Sparta in a tournament on Thursday. Sparta will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Catholic Central surely won't give up without a fight. South Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
