Northview has gone 7-1 against Thornapple Kellogg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Northview Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Northview will be strutting in after a victory while Thornapple Kellogg will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, Northview strolled past Wyoming with points to spare, taking the game 73-59. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Wolves are ranked 198th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Thornapple Kellogg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 71-31 loss at the hands of South Christian.

Northview pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Thornapple Kellogg, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Northview took their victory against Thornapple Kellogg in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 59-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northview since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
