Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodbridge). They blew past the Dover Senators 19-3 on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Raiders needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Makayla Lessner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Abriyah Reed was a standout: she scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Caroline Scott was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
