Baseball Recap: Casady Cyclones vs. Sterling Tigers
Casady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 13-3 walloping at the hands of the Sterling Tigers.
Casady saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Geib, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
Casady's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Sterling, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Casady will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Harrah at 4:45 p.m. As for Sterling, they will challenge Plainview at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
