Soccer Recap: South Effingham Takes a Loss

South Effingham fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Glynn Academy on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Terrors by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Glynn Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on March 4th.

This is the second loss in a row for South Effingham and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Glynn Academy, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Effingham will take on Long County at 5:00 p.m. on April 2. As for Glynn Academy, they will face off against Frederica Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
