Softball Preview: Florence/Henry Falcons vs. Baltic Bulldogs
The Florence/Henry Falcons will head out to take on the Baltic Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Florence/Henry has four straight wins, Baltic has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Florence/Henry's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Milbank. Considering the Falcons have won five games by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Elizabeth Reiter was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
