It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Whitney Young can now relate to. The contest between the Whitney Young Dolphins and the Kenwood Broncos didn't end well, with the Whitney Young Dolphins falling 71-55. The Dolphins' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Whitney Young still got an impressive performance from Destiny Jackson, who shot 56% from the field to rack up 24 points and eight rebounds. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiaya Johnson, who posted ten points.

Kenwood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was London Walker George, who went 6-for-10 en route to 19 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Ariella Henigan, who put up 15 points along with six assists and six rebounds.

Whitney Young's defeat dropped their record down to 25-9. As for Kenwood, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 32-3.

Whitney Young does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kenwood, they will challenge Marist at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kenwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Marist likes a good challenge.
