Volleyball Recap: Celina Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Celina had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gainesville Leopards. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 25-20.

Celina was led to victory by Addilyn Paulson and Britton Huff. Paulson had 14 digs and one assist, while Huff had nine assists. Brae Mills also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Celina's win bumped their record up to 18-23. As for Gainesville, they are on a 52-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-29.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Celina is set to take on their familiar foe Aubrey at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gainesville will square off against rival Richland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
