Volleyball Recap: Valley Mills Comes Up Short at Home Against Valor Preparatory Academy

Valley Mills unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Valor Preparatory Academy Knights on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Valley Mills was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Valor Preparatory Academy work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 26-24, 25-17.

Coming up, Valley Mills will face off against Comanche at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, they will take on Central Texas Christian at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
