Volleyball Recap: Okemos Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Waverly last Tuesday, Okemos came back down to earth. The Wolves lost 3-0 to the DeWitt Panthers on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost six in a row.

While Okemos was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Zoe Taylor and Delaney Gahsman, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Paloma Rosati and her seven assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Payton Terwilliger went supernova For DeWitt., getting 14 digs and five aces. That's the most aces Terwilliger has posted over her last nine matchups.

Okemos' loss dropped their record down to 13-18-2. As for DeWitt, they pushed their record up to 21-12-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Okemos nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
